A silly question

Okay as many of you know I have a five year old son, absolutely adorable and gorgeous

Well he was very heavily into Pokemon, which is fine, I say let him make the choice and then learn with him ... which is what I did, and I actually enjoyed learning with him too.

Now ... well now all of a sudden we aren't evolving anymore but Digievolving, I Can Not for the life of me get into this Digimon stuff. I mean it is all so confusing to me ... and loud, very very loud (LOL). I'm trying, I really am, but I can't work any of it out, and to me it looks like a cheap version of Pokemon anyway.

So here is my question for any Cartoon watchers out there ... Which do you prefer? Pokemon or Digimon?Give me the likes of Cubone, Squirttle and Charmander over Greymon and whoever anyday thanks.

Yup, i love pokemon!

Digimon just doesn't have the cuteness....plus they can speak which is kinda annoying too!

I like the pokemon cartoon as well since I think it has some of the elements of traditional japanese anime, which was a surprise for me since i thought it was going to be a total cash in and have virtually no effort put into it at all.

Just wait from Digimon they switch to DragonBallZ. Now I'm completely confused. First it was Pokemon, then Digimon and now DragonballZ and I can't figure out who is who or what exactly is going on.

I bought (no joke here) about $600 worth of Pokemon stuff, and the kid now wants all the Digimon crap too, god help me when he wants DragonBallZ.

I still think Pokemon is the best, I watch it while he is off playing (LOL).

I know one Digimon, and that is Greymon, and My son pronounces it as Timeon, which is rather confusing when talking to people that know NOTHING (damn lucky people) about Digimon.

My neice says Bigachu instead of Pikachu too.

Mine are now into Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, Tenchi, and something called Blue Submarine #6.

(plus the requisite pokemon, of course, they hate digimon.)

I like the Pokemon characters better. Luckily my kids are still into Pokemon. We gave up T.V. about 8 years ago and they don't really know what the Digimon craze is. Long live Pokemon.
