I'm starting to finally believe this smile is permanently glued to my face. It goes so very deeper though. My heart, my very soul. Even after you've left for a few days, you're still here. Our morning phone call. Afternoon, evening....lol. Like little kids sometimes. Amazed at how we fit, click and interact. I am blessed and need to tell you that. I want to stand on a mountain top and scream......

Good Lord. More than a bit pensive tonight. Reflecting on where this heart has been, where it is and where it is going. Heh....going grocery shopping, listening to Savage Garden and reading this. I don't regret any of it. All part of as you say, loving that some people never know. Growth and learning.

I remember about two years ago, talking of starting a thread like this. *was it that long?* We were just friends talking....and unknown, becoming more. Funny how life gives and takes.

We've had the highest highs and lowest lows together. Yanno, I think I can count on two hands, maybe less, the cross words or feelings we've shared. We've morphed, grown through it all. And many do not comprehend how we have done it. Life is to short....you and I know this. We can and do share an unconditional love that will transcend any future relationship we have with another. On a different plane than before....but there.

If only the rest of the world would get that....what a wonderful life this would be.

Was nice to see this thread surface. Romantics abound this time of year.

I miss the man who started this thread. He was one of the best friends I could ever hope to have. Hopefully, he is smiling down on us.

Ahhhhhhh...now for the romance....maybe Spring will hold something new to look forward to....that is a warming thought.......we just never know where we will find it or with whom.....

It's the holidays once again. I remember how much you loved this time of year. You were so tickled just to send out and receive Christmas cards....it was so cute. I miss hearing all about who you got cards from. Hell, I miss you.

I hope those reach you, dear friend. I went to the cemetary today to put some wreaths on my parents' graves and grandparents. It is funny, then I somehow stumbled across this thread. Didn't even know you started it.

But then there are so many threads.

Miss you so much. It was always fun to get together for lunch. I'm remembering some of the TV Shows you liked. The Red/Green show for example. Never my cup of tea. When I see it advertised, just like when I drive by the freeway exit to the resteraunt where we'd meet I smile.

Such a gentle soul who brought so much to everyone he touched.

Funny....never really come to Lit at all these days. I really don't know anyone here anymore. But I sat and read this thread. I really did have a life long friend in Steve. I miss his sound advice still to this day. Man, it has been such a very long time. I miss you to this day, ~S~. Guess I always will.
