This the proverbial shot in the dark sort of personal. I don't have any uber-clever opening line, so I'll just lay it all out there in terms of what I'm looking for.

First, me in a nutshell: early 30s, very short blond hair, brown eyes, fair, thin, quiet but confident, fit and active, but also a bit bookish and introspective.

I'm a person who has a lot of stress in their everyday life and I probably don't manage it terribly well. I'm here to find that special person who can kind of be an escape from reality. Somebody that I can open up to about anything and everything, share with, tease and flirt with, confess secrets to, be a sympathetic ear for. Friends with online benefits, as it were? Hopefully at minimum we can trade emails, perhaps chat a bit, exchange photos if there's a rapport, maybe even skype at some point pending how things go.

Essentials for you: very open minded (hopefully you have a hidden kinky streak), intelligent, and kind. Age could be anywhere from 20s to 50s so long as the other qualities are there. You needn't be a runway model but I'm fit and take care of myself, and haven't been known to shatter any mirrors, so hopefully you don't either ;).

I like to pride myself on being a good conversationalist and a good friend.

However, I am prone to rambling so I'm just going to hit submit now. Thanks for reading! :)

Rambling is good! If you can go off on tangents and go off farther than sin/cos, then you're spectacularly great!

I was going to bump this because you seem really sweet. :)
I'm not much of an outdoors gal. But camping's better than hitting a bar any day. :)
Added bonus, you get a Lotus post!

Hey pretty lady ^^ :)

Wow, thanks to all of you for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

For the record, I am male. It's actually in my profile but I suppose it's kind of buried at the bottom.

Now you have me worried that my style of writing is decidedly feminine.

Friends with online benefits is my new favorite thing to say.

Geeks rule

I love geeks...or people that are bookish and a bit shy ....fair play to them for posting this. I was always terrified of speaking to girls and later women..even now I am not confident and despite being tall and slim and often friends say quite goo looking when I take my glases off, I still live interror of making a fool of myself with women. SO much pressure!

And the moment I read this I said to myself. Damn, he is not man. I should have known it was all too good to be true.

You had me at "short blonde" though. And fit. And bookish.

Oh Shaun, hush. :cattail:
I suppose I wasn't all too clear.
Seeing as how I'm MGG and threw in: added bonus you get a Lotus post
And said hi pretty lady. lol

Need to be more clear with pronouns and addressing people. Damn hangovers.

Also. Mia, crisis averted, he sure is :)

I would not worry too much whether about your writing style; I thought that your ad was very well written.

Nah, I was just confused. Chalk it up to exhaustion and misunderstanding a member's reply.
