Last night Fed Ex came with a couple of packages for me. I had to sign some papers and stuff no big deal. When the smaller package got handed to me the guy said "Here's your ammo, we had to hand it special." My mind is reeling at this point as I try to figure out what is going on.

Well... Before I left Missouri I was signed up to enter the police academy. My gun didn't come till after I left and I called the police to go get it. I didn't want my ex doing something stupid with it. Well apparently the police department decided that they needed to finally send it to me since I had already paid for it.

So now... I'm stuck with a gun that I don't want near me. I know I'm not emotionally stable enough to have it in my possession given the circumstances of late...

What the hell do I do?

I'm not sure. I will try to find the number for the academy and see if I can mail it back to them.

Pawning might be a good idea as well...

Thanks

Give it to me

The world is a better place if I am armed. Dont forget the ammo

Dusty? Why don't you give APD a call or the department in your suburb and find out if they have a donation program for their police department. Might be a nice way to help out the local law enforcement.

If they don't, they may know of some really worthwhile cause for it.

Look in the yellow pages for Gun Dealers -- find the one that will give you the best price for it and sell it.

You could pawn it, but you won't get nearly as much for it there as selling it outright to a gun dealer.

That's an excellent idea. I don't think I could pawn it because I'd always wonder where it went, and if harm was done with it.

don't pawn it.

that just means somone else will buy it.

I'd say give it to a program like guns for toys or whatever.

they will distroy the gun for you.

....And the world will be a better place
And the world will be a better place
For you and me
You just wait and see

Another day goes by
And still the children cry
Put a little love in you heart
If you want the world to know
We won't let hatred grow
Put a little love in your heart...

Hey, you spelled every word correctly in that post! Congradulations!

I'm assuming all the punctuation mistakes are typos, so well done!

Don't pawn it only because the pawn shop will probably sell it illegally to some criminal.

Call your local PD and see what they say. If you're anit gun do the guns for toys thing.

But if you don't trust yourself with a weapon - GET IT OUT OF YOURS HANDS. I admire your ability to admit you can't handle it.

Truely.

At Leats get your Money back..................pawning would be fine. As for the Ammo........................take them to police station. Donate um.

Do what Weird Harold said: sell it to a reputable gun dealer. Why throw money away?
