Yep always with the music, when it comes to me. Well not that you would all know. *shrugs*

but yep im jackin this off another forum. I dunno how well it will do here but it did well there.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and your only entertainment was music played on a water proof, solar powered Cd Player. (very dumb, yet id still buy one)

What 10 Cd's could you not live without, would you take for your entertainment?

No particular order...
1. Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
2. Stuff my ex has recorded.
3. The Beatles - 1 (There songs I enjoy are to spread out and I dont wanna list multi Beatles lp's)
4. The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
5. Crystal Method - Vegas
6. Metallica - S&M (again I want the Cd's to be all from diff bands)
7. Melanie C - Northern Star
8. StarWars Original Trilogy Soundtrack (Does that count since its 6 Cd's but still a set?)
9. Blue Man Group - Audio
10. Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie &....

Desert Island Discs

is what we call it. I love this game :)

The Indigo Girls - 12:00 Curfew
The Band - Pink House
Handle - Messiah (BSO recording)
Frank Sinatra - The Very Good Years
The Big Chill - Soundtrack
Little Feet - Waiting for Columbus
Elton John - Greatest Hits (sad, I know)
Sarah McG - Mirror Ball
Harry Chapin - Greatest Hits
Rush - I'm not sure which album

grr its been done before? more than once? lol thats what i get thinking theres FINALLY been a somewhat new topic in a board that has a gajillion people registered to it. hehe.

Yes...

...its been done on the radio very famously. Normally the DJ gets a guest celebrity to name their DIDs and then they play tracks ond discuss the albums in the studio :)

i'm gonna need a trunk for this...

the compleate works of Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi...

Gypsy Kings (there's something about Nicolas Reyes voice, Love that Soul and Passion)

Brule'- We the People (Native American Rock)

Kitaro, Hiroshima, Jean-Luc Ponty (gotta have my Jazz)

Global Celebration, a 4 CD set "Earth Spirit", "Gatherings", "Dancing with the Gods" and "Passages"

that's all i can think of right now...

I would have to think about this one for a bit....BUT I can tell you it won't be anything remotely like a boy band.

Hah! After that comment about Air Supply in the other thread I am keeping this to myself. ;)

In no particular order.

1. Extreme "Pornographitty"
2. Extreme "Three sides to Every story"
4. Chemical brothers
5. The Matrix Soundtrack
6. Rage Against the Machine "Bulls on Parade"
7. Limp Bizkit "Significant Other"
8. Limp Bizkit "Chocolate Starfish and the hotdog flavured water"

awwwww!! you better make a list dagnabbit! *pouts* hehe. You know i was just kiddin anywayz.

YAY!! AIR SUPPLY!!

Yeah I happen to think Mel C. did one hell of a good job making Northern Star.

Actually could mention about 100 more titles I would wanna bring. But since we only got 10....well these are it.

Embarrassing but true...

1) Binge and Purge - Metallica
2) Appetite for Destruction - G n R
3) Tribute - Yanni
4) Lynnrd Skynnrd's Greatest Hits (if they have one)
5) Country Grammar - Nelly
6) Moby's thing
7) The Hackers soundtrack
8) The Mortal Kombat soundtrack
9) Oogeh - Monster
10) Return of the Killer A's - Anthrax

What? Oh my gawd, will you people quit staring at me like I've got a dick growing out of my forehead???

BTW, Binge n purge out rocks S&M, in my overweening opinion. I had to choose between Rattle n Hum and Lynnrd Skynnrd. It wasn't easy, but I just couldn't get by without hearing Sweet Home Alabama and Gimme Three Steps at least twice a day.

1. Janet - Janet Jackson
2. Control - Janet Jackson
3. Mortal Kombat Sountrack
4. 20 Fingers Compilation
5. Cirque Du Soleil (sp?) Soundtrack
6. Blue Man Group Compilation
7. Guns N Roses Appetite for Destruction
8. The Big Ones - Aerosmith
9. Boomerang Soundtrack

That's all I can think of at the moment.
