Dave had only moved here a few months ago after his wife of 6 years had tragically died. Dana had been gone now for two years and he could not take the constant reminders of her around the farm. So he sold the farm and moved the horses to a new location over 200 miles away. Since then his romantic relationships had been few in fact he had not even slept with a woman since his wife had died. Friends had set him on up on several dates but he would never allow himself to relax and they usually ended early.
The new farm was up and running with the barns now finished and new clients had begun to flock to his farm in search of trail and show mounts. Everything was going well and Dave was able to avoid being set up by his friends since they were well over 200 miles distant. His closest neighbor was a woman close to his on age that lived across the street. They had waved at one another but that was it. She had her own animals and he had seen her riding early in the morning at sunrise. She was an attractive woman for sure but his fears prevented him from imagining anything more.

Personality-In the past very out going and good natured. Loved to make people laugh. Now very withdrawn at social gatherings though would still help a friend in need.
The idea behind this is more of a romance with Dave being unable to allow himself to get close to another woman. He fears that if he becomes close to someone else than he might lose her as well and feels he cant go through that pain again. He is yet to understand that it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Looking for a female to play the part of the neighbor and develop a relationship between the two of them. The description is up to you other than she must like horses and of course farm life.
