You know guys and dolls, I went to a reunion last nite for my high school. And my best friend went with me. It was just a simple gathering, to which you could bring your family. Well, hubby had to work, so I did take my daughter.
And I was amazed. I did not feel intimidated by the people that used to bother me in school. None at all, even those who were smarter, stronger, and of course had more provided to them than I did. I just sat and took in everything as we watched the kids in the pool, and everyone praised the others child. And it hit me then. I have everything I could ever want. A husband who well provides for me and our family, and a beautiful, if not agressive little girl.
And nothing else mattered. NOTHING! My life is exactly where it should be. Peaceful, content. And I love it.
