I have a stream of consciousness type of piece that
I'd like someone to read...but I don't want to
formally post it to LIT. Is it appropriate to post it here...it's a bit long. If so, how?

When you say you want someone to read it, I'm assuming you mean you want some feedback?

If so, why don't you try posting it (or an excerpt) to the "Story Feedback" board. Some people will squawk about posting stories there, but if you want feedback before you submit, I don't see what the problem is.

Otherwise, I'll look at it. PM me and I'll give you an email address where to send it.

You didn't actually say anything to me to start with, - as in will you read it, comment on it, etc..

Post it, as to category, hmmmmm, not sure, last time I looked at the list of category, so many of them!

Post it, I believe you should post it, some will really like it others will hate it.

I write, to write, I seldom look at my votes, and I must finish some of my scribblings!

When I check, I can see I get many views, without votes, but now that makes no difference. I do get feedback, that is more important and the ones that give me an email addy I reply to, and I email them when I have written more, most are from the romantic series I have been writing. I really must finish it, it is almost done, almost!

You asked 'HOW,' but I think you have figured that out!
