While we banter and jest about Politics, Should we take the current chaos seriously?
I mean I know he has the Nuke Codes and "could launch 1,000 Nukes!" But really how likely is that?

The last year has been unprecedented, in my lifetime. This is the craziest fucking year I remember and I don't know what to think any more.

If the Congress truly investigates "RussiaGate" and reports the "Truth" of it in a bipartisan way I'd be flabbergasted!

Realistically this would be a boon to the flagging Newspapers and drive advertising rates up making Madison Ave happy. So there is that happy coincidence. Ehm, wait coincidence?

From the distance of the width of the Atlantic ...

Yes, please take the chaos he's causing seriously. Dysfunctional leadership sows dysfunction and some of it is already violent. We're in for a string of 'Trump inspired me' acts of hatred and criminality, perpetrated by those who love him and those who hate him. He's such a seriously terrible event. Please, you guys of the States, use your Constitution to make it an event shorter that four years.

And meanwhile who is leading on the urgent matters for your nation and for the globe which need addressing at the highest level? Who is exercising the statesmanship required to keep these things progressing on track and with sure foundation?

A comparison: I am no Conservative and would never vote for Theresa May or her people; but I recognise that she is capable, wise, and sassy with how public life works. She has statesmanship. So I, a Liberal Democrat 'remainer' can respect her though she's a Conservative Brexiter.

Could anyone anywhere who doesn't share Trump's extraordinary views have any respect for him at all? A President of the United States who is considered a dangerous bafoon by most of the world - yeah, take that seriously.

Trump can't launch nukes without a series of events taking place. Even if he says, "Do it" there are others in the process who would countermand the order.

If, rather, when, Russiagate comes to a head, not only will Trump and Bannon and Spicer and Preibus continue with their "fake" comments, this will only embolden the uneducated deplorables who voted for Trump to say, "See. This is exactly why the media is biased" without a second thought the media is only reporting on what the Congress has said.

I like that Trump is hanging himself with a longer and longer rope every time he opens his mouth. When he's impeached there will be a ton of reasons why.

A crazy man is in control of the United States of America.

What could possibly go wrong ?

What is worse, people are manipulating this crazy man.

It is horrible, when everyone that has contact with this crazy man, has to tell other nations not to listen to the head of a powerful country.

What is even more terrible, the crazy man hired liars to run the country for him.

Who is happy about this situation ?

Crazy poeople.

I'm sure there have been a few deliberately planted faux incidents, like Pence going to see Hamilton on his own, yeah right, but overall I think the chaos is real and due to total dysfunctional incompetence and a total void/vacuum on top, that would be Trump's brain.

I don't worry about the nukes, though, or (as yet) anything serious happening. I'm glad, because day by day by day he shows how incompetent he is, how uninterested in governing, what a fake phony liar he is.

He hasn't passed anything. He's been deluged with scandals. He gets called out on his lies every minute. He's lost support. It's going terribly, by any stretch of the imagination.

If it all ran smoothly and he'd already created a shitload of jobs, passed an infrastructure bill, etc. etc. and actually done anything, Id be more worried.

You assclowns lost the election, and youre losing plenty of battles with Trump.

He'll get the cabinet he wants, he'll replace the liberal judges, he'll fire 1000s of Democrats in the government, and change lotsa laws. For all intents and purposes its over for your team. Hillary, Bernie, Liz, and Schumer can do little for you. All you can do is piss and whine.
