A question for writers

Also, ever since I found my bro's home vid on redtube I'm scared of what I'll find there

You poor thing. You may need years of therapy. My brother turned me on to lit so I am always afraid he's lurking nearby...

Do you know his Lit name - does he know yours?

My sister and her husband know I write porn. They don't know WHERE, however. I'm glad I never told her it was Lit.

If she came looking here, she'd probably find me, though.

(That thought really squicks me out.)

He knows mine, and he just lurks.

If I think about anyone I know reading what I write I become completely unable to write a single line!

:D I know.

Then again, there are some people I really want to be able to read what I write. And as I write, I am thinking of them. ;)

Focus, my man, don't multi-task. Be committed to your craft.

It's so much easier to write with TWO hands, and it'll go twice as fast.

Since I only use one finger on each hand, typing one handed makes it go four times as slow.:D

My dad actually got me interested in this site. I spent a few weeks reading stories on here and figured I'd give it a go. That was well over a year ago. He reads all my stuff and always votes a 5! :)

I don't think I could ever tell anyone else in my family, they're too straight laced. Maybe once I get my first big break and start making some money I'll tell them.

When I first started writing here, it was difficult for me to tell people what I did for a hobby, now it's second nature. Most of my friends know what I write and where to find it and surprisingly they're encouraging about it too.

Some of my co-workers joke with me about writing "smut" but I simply tell them they'll change their tune when I start to make money off that "smut."

That usually shuts them up.

my name is the same everywhere. anyone with half a brain could find my stuff.

That's kind of the point honestly. I'll freely admit I'm a hog for attention :cattail: and I like to know whose looking me up! XD

and honestly, I don't really care who thinks what in my family.

My mom finally knows, and honestly, she's proud I've taken the time to submit to a publisher and encourages my writing. Anyone else can bite me

My bf... hell, I met him because I was giving out how to find my works to other people :p

The longer I'm on here the more comfortable I get with myself. An added benefit.

Now, that's responsible parenting.....
