I've thought about getting implants when I was 'finding myself' but... I dunno, elective surgeries are fucking pricey (the cheapest I could find a good surgeon was $5000) and have a lot of risks just to make myself feel better.

But I don't customize my body for other people. I didn't get my tats to show off, I got them because they meant something to me. Breast implants are a body modification. I would have gotten them because I wanted boobs. But, you know, no.

really? the first man i married was an apprentice toolmaker, the second a bowling alley technician. you can be clean and presentable, with a personality, and not have a big wallet. men who rely solely upon their big wallets to attract women are overcompensating, and maybe they are the ones who get pretty mad when a girl still turns them down. especially if it's for someone with a more slender money-holder

there will always be gold-diggers, dolf, no matter the geography, but the insistence that wallet-size is what women in general consider to be the most important thing is ... weird. from what i know of teenagers, it's mostly the parents who're more concerned with how much money the boyfriend has. i find that money hang-up pretty tacky, personally. especially since women are capable of earning in their own right.
