About a year ago, I removed about twenty stories from the site because I felt that they'd run their course and were too good to just sit on the site. I was going to attempt to have a small book published with the short stories but decided otherwise. Is it permissable to edit and resubmitt the stories? They've been gone too long to be considered as an 'Edited' version to keep the votes and scores intact. I don't want to do it and find out the hard way that it can't be done

The problem with reposting stories would be the monthly contests, etc.

I'd say when you resubmit them to include something in the notes field about them being previously posted. That should be all you'd need to do.

I'd strongly advise sending a PM instead of an e-mail. The latter can sometimes get lost in all the spam.
