I vote for shaved (or so closely trimmed it's like shaved) too. I think it has visual appeal and is a major inducement to oral. I'm not a big fan of pleasing hairy balls orally, so it's in the guy's best interest to remove the hair from that region.

my SO got a tip he read from jenna jamison (porn star). use neosporin as a shave gel, it cuts down razor burn and any ingrown hairs. been doing it that way for years with no problems and great results.
