Jeez, that sounds a bit BS-y. One can also get all kinds of horrible diseases from, say, eating food, yet I doubt your wife has stopped eating. One can get a disease from visiting a restroom, yet I don't imagine she does her business on the front lawn. One can get killed crossing a street, though most people still get to the other side. There's always risks, and healthy ways of handling them.

My suggestion is to be honest with her!!! But before u do think long and hard about how u will say what u just stated here. U are actually thinking of cheating ( I am a cheater so I know from exp)
1) how do u think she will react if u tell her what u are contemplating on doing?
2) can u live with the guilt if u do it and don't tell her?
3) can u live with the possibility of an adverse reaction like her thinking of leaving u based on what u discuss( I have no idea if this is a real possibility)
4)if u do nothing can u live like that?
5)only u know what the best scenario is for u. I just suggest u think about it before u do it.

I am a cheater. I have two play partners I play with. I've learned that I need to do it for my own happiness. Is it ideal ? I think I will forgo the cheating and just continue to weasel my way down on her and continue to tell her how much I enjoy doing what I used to do. She still lets me once in a while. We have done it in the middle of the South Pacific on an Island, on a couple ships Ireland Canada and the Bahamas. Do you think I will have to be going to other countries more ? I am going to Spain next summer but she does not want to make that trip as I will spend a month on a trail walking across Northern Spain.

From a medical standpoint ( I am a nurse ) so long as both you and your wife are healthy and follow good hygiene oral sex is as safe as any other sexual contact.
