A Question For the Ladies and Gents..

OK here is my Question, and I don't know why there is a big problem with it and stuff like that.. but here it is..

but before I ask I just want to say that I seen this TV commercial about it and it made me think about it and ask myself WHY..

OK here it is....

Why is it that men are made a Joke of when it comes to Tampons??

I mean I can go into a store and buy them for the wife with no problem, no Embarassment or nothing.. I'm just wondering why it is that way.. I have done this many times, even go with ex G/F's into the store just to get them.. What is the big deal about making a joke about men getting their women Tampons when they ask for them??

I dunno...my husband, an evolved and sensitive creature in so many ways, still seems to fear that he will be contaminated if he comes into contact with a box of tampons. If they're in a bag, he'll unload everything else, and then bring me the bag.

Mind you, this is a man who has no problem frequenting sex shops, renting porn, washing my undies, doing any number of things that other guys find mildly embarassing to deeply annoying.

I really think he's afraid he'll "catch" a period if he knows too much about it. It reminds me of the folks in the trailer park who used to ramble about someone catching pregnant. You'd think that people know better, but then they get all superstitious and sketchy.

I think its the blood but then who am I to say I can't figure out my husband some to the time
