Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum, please move it if necessary. I'm writing my first story and I have a question about the series option that I couldn't find in FAQ. Say for example I was planning a multichapter story called "When Alice Met Bob" and the first chapter is called "Alice And Bob Start Fucking". The problem I was having was that I was trying to enter the equivalent of "When Alice Met Bob Ch. 01: Alice And Bob Start Fucking" into the title field but of course I ran out of room. Am I correct in assuming that if I create a series called "When Alice Met Bob" then write a story called "Alice And Bob Start Fucking" and add it to that series then when it's submitted and if its accepted it'll show up on my story page with the title I originally intended: "When Alice Met Bob Ch. 01: Alice And Bob Start Fucking"?

No, the titles won't show up the way you want. You can look at the "Series" tab https://www.literotica.com/series/ to see examples what other people have done. For example, PrincessKatie69 titled her series "Katie's All Grown Up" and then used an abbreviated series name with the chapter number and subtitles for the individual story names: "Katie 02: Daddy Helps Katie."

My understanding from the Series FAQ is that you have to get your first story accepted and published first, and then you can create the series and put that story into it. So it's a good idea to work out how the titles are going to go before submitting your first story. HTH

You certainly can do this. I have a series titled “Cuckolding a Follower” and the story names are each unique and descriptive of their portion of the series. You have to make it clear in the notes where the story goes, and even then it can get messed up. Laurel fixed it quickly when I brought it to her attention.
