Does the Ignore feature work on private messages?

I've gotten three private message alerts tonight when there was no message to display. The other four private messages tonight showed up just fine.

I just sent you one. Don't think you have me on ignore, since you just answered me on cup-size thread. I don't know for sure, but I would imagine ignore would work for private messages.

I got yours, then got two more alerts that didn't show up any new messages.

Yes I can see quotes from people I have on ignore, and I did NOT get a PM alert from Angel's message.

Angel is no longer on ignore either.

The PM was there waiting when I took Angel off ignore although it didn't show up until I did. (not even in the "you have x private messages" notice at the bottom of the main page.)

PS an interesting thing about the ignore function...

Angel, do you realize that putting you on Ignore reduced "Taking Advantage of The Upload Feature" from 80 pages to 77 pages?

Putting SK back on ignore the other day when he was being overly prolific with new threads chopped a full page of threads off of my threads with "last read" arrows.

How many posts do you see per page? I have 10 posts per page and it shows 162 pages on that thread.

I have the post per page option set at "forum default" which is I think, 20 posts per page.

(For those expecting angel horns, and other signs of armagedon, just because I've got bunches of answers, doesn't mean that I've got them all. Hell, even Todd has beaten me to a few correct answers.)
