Ok, I'll admit it, I have never seen the whole Nightmare on Elm Street series, or Halloween, or any of the others for that matter; but I do want to watch them! However, when I went to the video store, of course they aren't labled (1,2, etc through 20) and some of them just have sub-titles. (Halloween, the curse of Michael Myers) So I was wondering if someone could tell me the order of the Nightmare on Elm Street & Halloween movies so I could watch them all in order. :) (and yes, I felt dumb asking the guy at the video store, so I thought I'd ask you guys!) Thanks in advance.

I have no idea, just don't let me watch the Exorcist ever again!!! It scares the hell out of me.

Always the helpful one, I am!

Halloween
Halloween 2
Halloween 3 Season of the Witch
Halloween 4 The Return of Michael Myers
Halloween 5 The Revenge of Michael Myers
Halloween 6 The Curse of Michael Myers
Halloween H2O
Halloween 8 Michael Myers Rides Again (*heheh*...just a little joke)

Halloween 8 is coming in the fall 2001.

My hubby and I ALWAYS watch the first Halloween movie on DVD on Halloween night. Trust me...don't even bother past Halloween 2.

A special gif just for you:

Still in that charitble mood...

A Nightmare on Elm Street
A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare
Wes Craven's New Nightmare

We with web browser's must always help those less fortunate.

Now don't make me pull your hair. :p

No, No, not another one. Couldnt he have been MORE dead at the end of H20?

Maybe Jamie Lee Curtis finally flips and takes over the family "business"?

Not to be forgotten...

Don't forget Hellraiser, Hellraiser 2: Hellbound, Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth and Hellraiser 4: Bloodline. Some parts of these movies are really chilling. Great make-up effects, too.

Also: Prom Night (with Jamie Lee Curtis, of course), and the only-related by name Hello Mary Lou, Prom Night II. There is a third one also, but it was really awful. The first two are fun in their own goofy ways.

And, a little known but pretty strange horror flick: Doppelganger (with Drew Barrymore, and the guy who plays the newlywed-husband in Father of the Bride movies).

I've loved the new, "Modern" version of the classics! Wes Craven's New Nightmare, H2O, Carrie II: The Rage...

Taking notes...

Ok, now I just need some big strong man to watch them with me so I don't get too scared! (Not so much by the movies but by all the things my mind will start coming up with after I turn off the lights and crawl into bed!) Just as long as he doesn't reach over and try to scare me at some tence point in the movie! (I hate that all most as much as having my hair pulled!) :)

I will try not to scare you during the movie,it was an old habit that I am trying to break.

I read the first Carrie; it was cool.

There's the Evil Dark (is that it?) and then Evil Dark 2 and then Army of Darkness (you know, the dude with a chainsaw for an arm?)

if your into good shit movies then try "I bought a vampire motorcycle" it gives new meaning to the word cheesey

Tiggs, I agree up to Carrie II, but I thought The Rage was just a 90's clothing version of the original. Or has it been so long since I've seen the original???

A modern horror/gross flick for consideration... The Cube. The sci/fi channel did it, and mercy, does it have some interesting parts!

on the Hellraiser series

Also a fifth Hellraiser came out straight to video about this cop that finds the infamous puzzle box at a crime scene

Did someone say Horror movies?

Oh you know I got to get in on this! I'm a horror fanatic! Well nobody mentioned the Friday the 13th series so:

Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th part 2
Friday the 13th part 3: 3D
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning
Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives
Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan
Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday
Jason X(coming next year, should have been called Jason meets Aliens from what I've heard)

And yeah Shila it is Evil Dead. I should know, I watch that movie almost every week!

But hey I suggest some of you check out Exorcist 3 if you haven't seen it. Not as good as the original but to me it was alot scarier. Call me a freak but I saw Exorcist when I was 11 and was not frightened by it at all.

Oh and if you guys want to see a horror movie with a realy fucked up ending check out the first Sleepaway Camp. The ending will take you by surprise and probably gross you out but it's not an ending you'll see in many movies today.

*Ace Ventura impression* "He found, Captain Winky!"

Trust me, if you've seen Sleepaway Camp, you'll get that joke.;)

LOL... I've seen Sleepaway Camp... I definately remember the ending!!! But do you remember the curling iron scene! <shuddering in horror> :)

Oh yeah the curling iron scene was definatly disturbing. And where she put it... *shudders* ouch!

grossest horror?

Dead alive, uncensored version....gross and funny as helll.....guaranteed

Hell yeah! The Zombie baby ruled in that movie. And of course there was the classic Lawnmower scene.:D Lots of blood and guts.

The most unusual zombie movie out there, Dead and Buried. Scared the hell out of me. There is one scene in there, that nearly made me jump out of my skin.

Shook me up, woke me up.. LOL, and put me out on the front lawn, it was that scary.

Not blood and guts, but this one plays with your head!!! I love scary movies like that!
