ORIGINAL REQUEST THREAD

This RP revolves around various patients that comes into therapist's office seeking help. SOME may have developing meetings in the past (Which you must describe in your post) and some comes in as a new patient. Looking for detailed RP partner/partners. The main thread is open for anyone to come in and visit her as part of an appointment. This RP is put together so that I can play with as many patients that comes to her during her office hours and it would lead to much more over the time between them two and other partners in similar RP (if it's convenient for everyone and agreed to do some sort of a group RP). So far, this is what I have in mind...set to be a unique RP. So need people who have wildest imagination.

Dr. Candice Peters, a name well known and well respected, have been practicing Psychiatry for a long time now. She was the youngest to graduate from a medical school so when she finished her training, she was indeed the youngest. That didn’t stop her from going further and a step beyond. She dedicated first few years of her career working under a famous Psychiatrist who not only was specialized in Neurology but also conducted research. Her curiosity had led her to sought him out and then work under him for few years before she started working at a hospital part time and part time, in her own clinic. Of course, that’s changed now since she dedicates all her time to her clinic now. It’s better that way because hospital has its own limitation.

She also specializes in cases that are hard to crack and that mostly comprises of people with very personal problems. She also manages patients who are struggling with their relationships and at times, she even does couples therapy. Only if both partners agrees to it. Most of her patients are rich since they are the only ones who can afford it.

She indeed have a nice estate. She had paid off her loans fully and then bought this house on the outskirts of the city. She didn’t like living in the chaos so she preferred the calmer environment. She had a 5000 sq feet house all to herself. It was her dream house that had a nice little drive way to it and mansion like feel to it. There…she was finally living in one and years of hard work finally had paid off.

Candice had everything digitized. Her home office basically didn’t need a secretary per say. Once someone enters her office, the patients would grab a seat and with it attached is a tablet. They’d have to sign in if they were old patients OR fill their personal and insurance information if they’re new. With that information, their digital chart either gets pulled from the record or is created if it’s a new patient. Should anyone want to make a new appointment, they’d reach an automated system where they can simply make an appointment on the phone and if it’s an emergency, they’d have her cell phone number where they can reach there anytime.

She did have a fall back secretary, Jemma, back at the location where she actually practiced with few other physicians prior to going solo but she was the second number they’d have to reach should they need her, unless it’s an emergency. Though, in such field, an emergency rarely occurs and hence, she loves her lifestyles. She gets to enjoy all the good things there’s to enjoy and was glad that she wasn’t married which would weigh her down. Like any other day, her office hours starts later in the day and finishes around the evening. She grabbed her iPad to see if the patient had arrived and if they did enter their pertinent information while waiting for her in the waiting area.

She slunk into the office, large Audrey Hepburn style sunglasses obscuring her face, casting furtive glances over her shoulder as if expecting someone to jump out of the bushes surrounding the property and scream "aha!"

Therapy. God how could she have gotten so desperate as to need therapy?

All her life she had looked down her nose at those in her social circle who boasted of the fact that they were seeing this or that therapist as if it were something to be proud of. Hardly. She scoffed at the women in her brunch circle and her book group who happily handed out their therapists' information like her nine-year-old and his friends traded their Pokemon cards.

She had sworn up and down that she would never step foot in a therapist's office. Yet here she was. Shamefully hiding behind dark glasses, an Hermes scarf covering her hair, as she entered the quiet home office.

How had it come to this? She'd been so careful to keep life perfect for her husband and herself. There'd never once been a hint of cheating between them in the fifteen years of their marriage. They told each other everything - at least they had up until a few months ago. So where had it all gone wrong? When had she started to keep secrets from her husband? When had she decided that she would shut him out of her life?

There was no simple answer.

And so here she was, hiding in the corner of the empty waiting room, wishing she could pull the potted fern in front of her to hide away from imaginary prying eyes. The fact that there was no one else in the waiting room didn't make her feel any more secure. Someone she knew could walk in at any moment.

Hastily, hoping to get this over with before anyone else showed up, Alexis Dumont typed her information into the iPad next to her seat; praying with all her might that the therapist would call her in soon.

She was expecting Alexis Dumont at about 2 pm. She was ready for her patient as she was dressed in a white button up top that was tucked into her black pencil skirt. This was one of the perks of working from home, she could dress simple on certain days she wouldn’t want to dress up and if she was feeling alright, she can dress professionally. It wasn’t just working from home but it was her job. She wasn’t a proper medical doctor who had to make sure to look so professional all the time and keep appearance in hospital. She did complete her outfit with a pearl earrings and a bracelet on her left wrist, and black matching heels.

Though, she always kept up her appearances. Once she was ready, she stepped out into the waiting area, “Mrs. Dumont?” She said as she smiled, holding the door open for her, “Come on in. I will see you now.” She said with a soft smile on her face, holding a large tablet in her hand, with her file opened since she’d read what was filled by the patient so far and so she could write her notes in her electric chart. Once she’d walk up to the door, she’d simple let her pass and point to a door across a small hallway which would lead to her luxurious office.

She'd fine a large wooden desk which she barely sits on in the presence of a patient but it is there for the formality. She spends most of her time on the couches which were in the corner of the room, across the table and to its left would be two windows, looking out towards the garden. "I am Dr. Peters. How are you?" She smiled and looked at the woman, wondering what her problem was. She knew it briefly but her chart didn’t have anything else in details. Besides, she likes to hear it from her patients themselves. Once the patient would settle in and find herself in a comfortable spot, she continued, “So, tell me about you? What brings you here?” She asked her curiously.

She smiled and looked at him, fairly young guy, wondering what his problem was, apart from what he had written in his chart. Though, it was crucial that she hears from him and so, she leaned forward to show him she was interested in what he had to say as her gaze pierced through his.
