Hee hee hee. I've just had my lowest scores ever: two twinkly 1 votes on my new story. I feel a bit of a soft spot for the poor little fellow, sitting there clutching its 1.0 ('Worst Dressed Story On Lit) medal. I kind of want to give it a warm reassuring hug and tell it everything's going to be ok.

LOL. It's not a sad post, Laurely-lou. I actually did think it was pretty funny 'cause I've been going a bit mad with my experiMENTAL writing of late. It made me chuckle that I got such a low vote for it. Just as well I never submitted my recent attempt at crossbreeding 'Debbie Does Dallas' with 'Waiting For Godot'.

Chefster, it was chapter one of 'Rachel's Fire'. It's a kind of update of the Rachel Picabia / 'Miss Babylon 1999' thing. There should be more chapters posted soon too.

If either of you vote for it could you give it a 1? I want to get ten 1s to see if I can get the lowest scoring story on the board. I think that deserves some kind of an award. What do you reckon. Madam?

Where can I find out if 'Sally's Embarrassing Moment' (lesbian sex) is one of the worst scoring stories on Lit? It's got 70 votes and a score of 1.7. I'm determined to get into the lower reaches of the Bottom Lists

BTW, Chef. I reread Chapter 1 and I've submitted it again with changes that, I think, make it easier to follow. It'll hopefully be posted in a day or two.

I had a deep philosophical problem with rating this story. I thought it was "pretty good" and certainly not worth a 1. On the other hand you seemed to regard a "1" as a top score, so I just compromised and gave it a 3.

Ok, you can all stop giving me 1 votes now. I was just being silly and bitter. Now I don't know if I'm getting such low votes 'cause of this strand or because everyone thinks what I've done is complete shit. 5 out of 7 chapters have a score under 2.40.
