I think Fox news is not all democrat, Todd. There are quite a few conservative people on that network.

There is no such thing as a singular - reliable news source.

The only way to "atempt" to obtain a balanced point of view is to get your news from multiple news sources.

I read 3 to 5 papers everyday - I read different papers too, almost picked at random (I have access to all US papers, I'm lucky) I favor none.

Well I do pretty much hate the New York times - but it has nothing to do with politics - I hate'em because they have this huge "journalistic, literate, my words are golden" stick up thier ass. But I still read it.

I also vary my TV sources - random again.

It's the only way Todd - they all make mistakes - they all have some sort of definable agenda.

Hell - I even listen to Rush and that bitch woman Dr. Laura - just to see what the assholes might be buying into.

And Todd.

Fox is owned by Rupert Murdock - one of the most conservative men on the planet.

He is also known as a hands-on boss - his editorial bent runs deep into all his operations.

He may very well be the most conservative man on the planet, but Fox Rochester news on Channel 19 at 10Pm dioes not show it any. Itook the last 2 weeks and put two colums pub slant dem slant and it had an 73.2397% dem slant. :(

As you say though they all have thier own agenda.

Obviously Rupert can't be directly involved......

In all his many operations.

Check this out Todd....

Born in Melbourne, Australia, media tycoon Keith Rupert Murdoch (1931-), the son of the celebrated war correspondent Sir Keith, transformed a small daily newspaper, The Adelaide News, that he ran in the 1950s into a huge media empire.

Murdock is the chairman and chief executive of News Corporation Ltd, which owns 20th Century Fox, the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team, Harper Collins books, and much, much more.

Murdoch's empire spans the globe, reaching two thirds of the world's population. His publications include TV Guide, The New York Post, New York Magazine, The Star, the London Times and Sunday Times, the Boston Herald, and the Chicago-Sun Times. His aggressive business style and brilliant marketing enabled him to build his successful worldwide communication network.

And this Todd....

News Corporation Home Page - News Corporation Limited, together with its subsidiaries, is an international communications company principally engaged in the production and distribution of motion pictures and television programming; television, satellite and cable broadcasting; the publication of newspapers, magazines and books; the production and distribution of promotional and advertising products and services; the development of digital broadcasting; the development of conditional access and subscriber management systems, and the creation and distribution of on-line programming. News Corporation conducts its operations primarily in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia and the Pacific Basin. The Company has also entered into joint ventures to provide direct broadcast satellite television services in Latin America. News Corporation has a subsidiary, Fox Entertainment Group Inc., and owns equity interests in certain companies, including TV Guide Inc. and British Sky Broadcasting Group plc.

And then go here Todd.... http://www.newscorp.com/

Rupert is one big MoFo news man. And he's as right as the come.

no argument from me

that the Fox News Network is the most conservative of the major news networks. But look what you are comparing it to. When any media outlet is compared to the maze of three letter acronyms including CBS, NBC, ABC and Ted Turner's brain child CNN, even a "fair and balanced" news network would be considered "conservative". Fox News at least makes some attempt to give both sides of an issue.
