The campaign for Gibson, a Democrat running for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates in a district just outside Richmond, issued a statement Monday in which it denounced the sharing of the videos as a violation of the law and her privacy. Gibson called the exposure of the videos “the worst gutter politics.”

“It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,” she said in the statement. “My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up.”

He is not a mod here. All he has to do is use his mod account where he must act in an official capacity...and a burner account to post in non-moderated forums.

she and her husband can perform this kind of stuff to their hearts' content, so long as they declare it on their income taxes. Having said that, it is absurdly naive of her to not realise it would be used against her in targeting her as unfit for office in the public eye. As for privacy laws, how on earth would that apply given it's out there on the web i.e already in the 'public domain'?
