Could all of you please face south/soutwest and inhale deeply.

I'd like you to reclaim the "Cold Canadian air mass bringing high winds and colder temperatures."

The one day of the month that I mustleave my cozy apartment and venture out into the nasty stuff called weather, it's 48F, winds 35 from the North with gusts to 45 and blowing dust. :(

So please, suck your cold air back to the north where it belongs. I think it sucked enough heat from me this morning to raise your temerature by a degree or two so you can have it back now.

Actually, it would be a pretty nice day out there without the 10F chill factor (Feels like 38F) and chasing my hat every time I turned a corner.

I'd think you'd want all that "warmed" air back if it's that cold there. :p

Normally, the Rockies block Alberta Clippers, but this one spilled over the Rockies and got funneled throughthe Great Basin (Between the Rockies and Sierra Nevada ranges.

At least the Dust storms subsided before I went out. At 3:00 AM visibility was down to about 500 yds because of dust in the air.

Harold, my car was covered in dust this morning and it's quite cold here as well. Wind has calmed down, but it's only about 30 degrees.

Gee, I'd just love to live in a place with a "dust" season.

YIKES!
