The Place
Jinkin Village, west of the mountain-range called Boer's Mountain; a trecherous mountain-range that sends even the most sane people down it's side's screaming with insanity and misfortune. Jinkin itself is supplied with nothing but the best weather coming off the side of the mountain, and is known for it's huge market place. For those who do brave the mountains and are able enough to tell of it, their lore and stories fill the taverns of Jinkin. This place is also known for hasty superstitions.. You'll never see a white animal of any kind, and should you do, it is immediately slaughtered--Believed to be the most unfortunate things known as people see even albino livestock as nothing more then a hindrance. This large and prosperous village is not without it's problems, but most get by.
The Time Of Year
The time of the year is winter, and being on the side of a mountain-range, the snow can be treacherous. Likely early January. A snow storm is fixing to brew up and take in the village for an unhealthy round of flurries and bury half the village... But everyone is well prepared.
The Placing
Jinkin is situated in a precarious place on the border of the war-country Tamron, and the nuetral kingdom of Sanq. Tamron's hell-bent tenacity to conquer everything comes from the ruler and government, set to take in every able bodied hand and creates disgusting games of pleasure for sadistic nobles.. The end result of such disgusting battles is another able hand within the armies. Sanq on the other hand... It a fairly large kingdom that takes in people of war, and nuture's their spirits back into good standing before finding them a new home to live that's far from the war kingdom's. Sanq is a haven for those who wish not to fight, but to live and survive happily in peace.
The Problem
Negociations between the war country Tamron and Sanq have been failing for a while now, and Tamron threatens to come to Sanq's door step in an attempt to take it over, but to get there, their entire armies have to make it throught he Beors Mountain Range. And before even that, there's an inviting village in the way that could bring some mercifully able hands to help out in the efforts.
