A newb question

In my user cp I can't set an avatar.

Is there something I missed in options, or do you need a certain number of posts first, or am I just brain dead?

(A good thing that to the best of my knowledge no one I know posts here or #3 would win the day easily.)

you need a 100 posts before you can set an AV!

#posts = 100.

some users experience an issue when they hit #100 and the option is still not enabled. this requires (sometimes) logging out of the site, then logging back in, as the forum software is relying on cached data that hasn't updated correctly.

I KNOW THIS ONE!!!!

Need 100 posts. After that you have to log out, clear your cookies and log back in. Go to your User CP, and click Edit your avatar. When you have done the preceding, you will have the option to upload your AV.

(Just went through it the other night, with others help!)

thambok: sorry--i type at 85 WPM or so. i think.

that said, i wager somebody has it saved as a TXT and just cuts & pastes when it crops up. :>
