I still don't understand why the poetry and new stories are in separate sections, but now the poems are no longer second class citizens...lol.

Do audio poems and stories appear in the "New" lists? Or are they separate because of the logistics involved?

Before the nominations I went through and read every poem on the site over the course of a week and sent feedback on the poems that stood out to be - either good or bad (egad was THAT a chore...lol). I was just wondering how in the hell I was going to remember which ones I've already read. This is FABULOUS!!!

LMAO! We definitely don't think the poems are second-class - we've got top quality poets on this site.

The logistics aren't insurmountable, but we do try to keep just stories in the "New Stories" area because that's what it's for - new stories. If we started putting everything "New" in New Stories, it would be a mess to find anything. Those who enjoy poetry can now easily find the newest pieces. I'd like to keep the poetry, the pics, the audio, and the stories separate but easily available. Each section has its own needs and its own audience (though there are crossovers), and keeping them separate will allow us in the future to tailor the design and form to meet those needs.
