Hi all im looking to write a new storie but need some ideas. What i want to do is have some one give me ideas like a persons name a place something that happenes. only one thing from a person so it is relly different. Before you stress yourself over the content, perhaps you'd be better off spending some time polishing up on the basic mechanics of writing. No matter how brilliant and fresh the material you choose, a poor treatment of it will make it appear lackluster.

I recommend reading over the articles in the Writer's Resources here on Lit. One in particular is well worth a gander:

Quasimodem and Tatewaki have good advice and I suggest you follow it. Don’t be put off by any negative response by anybody. Tiggs is full of her self, she thinks she is the queen bee of Lit E but just look at her home page and you will see what a pathetic little girl she is.

pondcritter, is what you need just a name and a basic story line? Something like, "Ray Davis always wondered if his neighbor's friendliness held the promise of more......."

If that is all you need to go off and running, seems simple enough to come up with your own. You didn't mention any specific categories. Supply a little more information. People will help if they know what you need.

Have you ever seen "Whose Line Is It Anyways" how they make up stuff off the top of their heads on the spot with just a little bit of info. That’s what I’m trying to do. I just wanted info from multiple sources, so the story would be wild and different.

A friend of mine went to a taping of that "Whose Line Is It Anyway Show". Truth is, those guys fart around for four or five hours, rewriting, trying different things, to get a twenty minute show. It's about as spontaneous as elephant gestation.
