A New Jedi Order ((OOC Interest thread))

Me, being as nerdy as I am have figured it would be fun to start a new Star Wars thread. Unlike the recent KOTOR one, there will be no 'set in stone' adventure. Instead, it will be based in/around the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4. And while there will probably be some exciting adventures eventually, I want
to be just orientation for awhile.

The game it self will take place around seventy years after the Fall of the Empire and the death of Emperor Palpatine. The Jedi Order has been restored to it's former glory, and now numbers in the high hundreds once more as a new, talented generation prepares to become the Vanguard of the Galaxy once more.

For now, the only class available is a Jedi student. I may allow smugglers, pirates and the like if people really want to play them and have a good reason for them being in/around the academy. Pretty much all near-human species are available, no droids or wookies though, because that's against the rules I believe, not to mention weird. ^.^; I will also play various NPCs, such as the Jedi Masters and random students.

Bio: Kino is one of the only MALE witches of Dathomir. He was born with a gift the witches prize above all else, the ability to use the Force, or spells, as the witches still refer to it. It's rare for anyone to use the Force, but on Dathomir, males have only occasionally been able to use it. His mother had insisted on sending him to the Jedi, for proper training, before any of the witches of his world tried to claim him as a slave/mate.

Physical Description: Jairania is quite a beautiful, petite young woman. She has shoulder length blond hair with minor black streaks in them, and stunning blue eyes. She wears small diamond ear-rings, and a diamond belly-button ring to "match"(Even though people rarely see it). She wears a black version of the standard Jedi Robes, making her sort of unique among Jedi.

Background: Like most Jedi, Jairania was found to be Force Senstive upon her birth on the planet of Corellia. Taken by a wandering Jedi to the Temple on Coruscant, she was raised to become quite a skilled Jedi Guardian. She was always a little brash, how ever, and this worried her master. But despite this, she has proved her quality in a number of sticky situations involving the Hutt crime lords and their helpless victims, always ending in the rescue of the said helpless victims.

Personality: A nice and approachble person, she does not mind being dragged into casual chit-chat. She is someone that will always offer advice if she is asked to, and she will not turn her back on her friends. She is also brash and cunning, and a little arrogant.

Physicall description- Purple skin, slender curvy body. Very beautifull face, with thin lips, yellow eyes.

Background- Lyk'ka grew up in poverty in her home planet of Ryloth. Because of her early devolpmet in her adultlences, her parents figured they could make a lot of money if they sold her into slavery. But along the way, the slave ship had to stop on Yavin 4 where the Jedi Masters there discovered that Lyk'ka was strong in the force, and was able to convince the slavers to leave Lyk'ka with them.
