They need a subtitle. Any suggestions?

Open discussion with a "How To" twist?

We have vanilla?

Humm, is this a new board? Do you have a link? Or is this something on Lit I'm just completley oblivious to?

Inquiring Caits need to know.. :p

*blushes* Oh thanks for the directions. I felt left out of the in-crowd for a minute. LOL

Don't worry about it, I was totally lost myself.

Interesting. Another subdivision.

At this rate, we'll have twice the number of boards by the time the new year ends.

*giggles* So who's 'in'? And who gets to decide who's 'in'? I think that we should all just be out, then we won't have to worry aobut it. LOL

LOL, dunno. I'm not one for the 'in' crowd scene. Usually full of boring people self absorbed with their own perceived importance, and require playing a game full of silly rules which only serve to let life pass you by while you worry about if you have gotten them right!! I love the peaceful existance of being 'out' where all the action is.:D

Hey, I resemble that remark! :p

I'm all for people expanding in new directions if they feel they need to. The GB is a little, well, "broad", so being able to split off some of the discussions into smaller groups can often be a good thing.

Yes, there is the danger of "in-crowds", but from my experience of the GB, they already have one there.

Of course, calling it the cafe is a bit off. We argued and stomped our feet and threw many tantrums before we settled on that name!

Maybe they should call it the "forum" or something like that?

Actually, they're fluffy socks with little white pom-poms sewn on. :D

I've never been one to run with an "in crowd", even though I know that I am a member of several. They form naturally, just as people get to know each other.

I don't bemoan cliques for that reason. And the GB is a damned hard clique to get into, simply for it's sheer size. So forming sub groups for other people seems like an intelligent idea to me.

I suspect our own cafe doesn't much resemble the GB. So it can also encourage diversity. And that's got to be a good thing.

Greetings from vanilla land (HT cafe).
Isn`t it always the way, those supposedly on the fringe are the most open minded, oh if only the gb`ers could grasp the concept.
Anyway just called in say thanks for your open and realistic discussion of the HT cafe.(can`t say I`m thrilled with the name either)

Hmm, rubbery place you have here, spanks very much:D
