(Closed thread for me and Horny_Male_Slut)
Skye pulled open the blinds and looked out onto the clear Florida morning sunshine. The ocean not even 300 yards away was calm, the waves lazily brushing up against the shore line. An old man was out with his metal detector looking for buried treasure as the seagulls watched him with mild interest.
Letting out a sigh Skye turned from the window to finish getting dressed. The 20 room Bayside Resort hotel that sat at the end of Key Largo was a beautiful and quiet place. It was for sale and that is why Skye was here. She had lost her husband, Justin a little over a year ago to a horribly senseless car accident and life for the beautiful 29 year old woman had ended. Now she was just a shell of a woman filled with sadness and loneliness.
The couple had been so in love and so full of dreams for their future. Married only 3 years before his life was taken and Skye’s was forever changed. Now she was utterly alone. She had no family; she had all but stopped communicating with her friends. To Skye her only thoughts were that she wished she had been in that car with Justin. Life didn’t have meaning anymore but Skye just couldn’t bring herself to end it.
She also knew she couldn’t continue living in Miami without Justin. Before marrying him she had dreamed of owning a small hotel and when she saw the ad for this place she felt in her soul that this might just be a way of continuing on with her life. A new beginning is what she needed so desperately. She also knew that she had to open her heart up again. Justin wouldn’t want her to live her life without someone to share it with. Skye was a woman that had so enjoyed being sexual and playful. She missed that side of herself almost as much as she missed him.
Skye looked into the mirror as she put her long auburn hair into a ponytail and finished with a light application of make-up. She had deep blue eyes and a full mouth that when she smiled took up half her face. She slipped on a lightweight floral print sundress and white sandals and headed down the elevator to get some breakfast and think about the meeting with the owners that would be later this afternoon.
As she came out into the lobby on her way to the small dining room she saw a tall and very handsome man checking in at the front desk. The desk clerk greeted her and the man turned to look to see who he was talking to. Skye was almost taken aback from the look coldness that she saw in his eyes. It was not that he looked angry but that there was just nothing there. Skye was used to getting men’s appreciative stares and she saw none in this man’s eyes. “He has been hurt.” She thought to herself.
Skye smiled at the desk clerk, nodded a friendly greeting to the man and continued onto the dining room. She had her notebook and wanted to be ready for her meeting. As she sipped her coffee she saw the man enter the room and take a seat close to her own. Their eyes locked and for the first time in over a year Skye felt a stirring deep inside her.
