A Murder of Crows (The Crow) (OOC)

People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries that soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes something so bad happens that terrible sadness is carried with it, and the soul can't rest. And sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.

Drugs, prostitution, robbery, murder. These were all things you'd expect in a big city, like New York City, or LA.
No one ever thought that such things could happen in a growing city in Upstate New York... but it did.

October, 2005.

A group referring to themselves as The Blood Moon began to make its presence known; drugs showing up on the streets more and more, murder rates beginning to climb... As the snow began to fall, so did the bodies. Women selling themselves, trying to get money enough to afford their next big fix....
The Blood Moon was rising, and taking down anyone who got in their way by whatever means they needed. There was no such thing as guilt, sorrow, or remorse within The Blood Moon... They would kill with a smile on their faces.

Bio: Rei's fiancee Jared used to be a cop. He was relieved of duty in September, thanks to a shooting that wrecked his leg. He and his partner had been trying to investigate a fire on the East side of the city, but The Blood Moon had sent some of its men to end the investigation.
His time was spent now on his guitars and music, the other passion of his life. His birthday was October 30th... and Rei had gotten him an early present; a guitar strap with his name. His band, The Mimes, was finally starting its first gig in years on Halloween. Rei couldn't have been more proud... but she had no idea he had been trying to continue his research on the case, even without his badge.

Bio: Melody was a soft hearted girl, one who was very kind and loving, she knew different languages, graduated high school at the age of 15 and already had a wonderful life, but it all ended one fatal night when she was 18, her parents were murdered, she found the men responsible but ended up being shot fatally, she seemed to sleep for only moments, when in reality she was dead for 5 months, alive again she vows to forever remove the crime, to stop those who want to do bad things to other people. Forever alone when she was alive, forever dead now. She has no time for petty things and is willing to do things without thinking things Thur. No one has any clue she is dead because she had no friends or family so she was nothing but a shadow, a shadow that will claim the scum of the world.

Leina Ring.

Leina the twenty four year old was a stripper. She'd been dancing at The Inferno since she had started dancing. The Blood Moon moved in. The club went to hell. Most of the girls became hooked on drugs pushed on them by the Blood Moon thugs. Most of the rest made into little more than sex toys for them.

Her best friend Annie got hooked bad. She'd become the girlfriend of Carlos, one of the worst of the thugs. Mitch, the bouncer who'd become a "big brother" to her had been put in the hospital once by the damned Blood Moon. One night Leina was heading out on her way home from work when three of the idiots stopped her just outside. Max, Ice, and Luther had decided it was finally the "good girl's" turn to have some fun. They first tried to force her to try some smack. When she blew the shit away they got mad. Told her fine, they tried to be nice so maybe Leina wanted rough. They gang raped her repeatedly in the back of the van they threw her into. They tortured her for hours before she just finally gave up and died.

Then she woke up in a dirty alley..
