Anna sat in the driver's seat of the small car. She had her hands on the steering wheel as she waited for her mom to get done and come on out. Anna smiled and rested, knowing her mother would take just about forever to leave. She was always like that, and it was doubtful she'd change anytime soon.
Anna was a lovely young woman who had grown into her self and filled out very well. She had her Mom's red hair, though a tinge of her father's brown had mixed in, now in cute little pigtails. She had also inherited her mother's dark green eyes. She was incredibly attractive, though her mom even more so.
'Mrs. Hottie' was what her male friends had called Anna's mom. She wasn't that old, in her early fourties, and she still looked fantastic. And it puzzled Anna whenver she saw Mom that Dad had even thought of leaving her. What younger woman could even compare?
But that was besides the point, the divorce was nearly over and Anna wanted to get her Mom's mind off of it by taking her down to the log cabin that they had. It was a nice get away, well stocked so they could get hammered if they wanted, and a great view from the back porch if they wanted to sit and watch the sunset.
Mom had gotten the place after the divorce, and it would be a good way to throw it in Dad's face for what he had done. It was then that she noticed Mom coming out, giving a little tap on the horn and grinning at her, "Ready to go?"
