Tonight's schedule - (This is after cooking dinner, helping kids with homework, figuring out clothes for tomorrow, etc.) We decided it would be easier to send one brave soul out to shop - leave the other behind to take care of the kids.

6:30 p.m. Walgreens drug store. The needed prescription wasn't ready so I promised to return later.

6:50 p.m. Grocery store. Bought a great deal of food for hungry family of four. (Can't believe lack of decent fresh fruit!)

7:50 p.m. Dollar-type store. Found a few wrapping essentials still needed for holiday.

8:05 p.m. Back to drug store. Picked up prescription.

8:10 p.m. Liquor store. 'Cause even if I don't drink one now, I sure as hell am gonna want a beer when I get home.

8:20 p.m. Naughty book store. Found the latest Penthouse Variations and a fun and naughty new toy (for later, perhaps to go with the alcohol).

8:30 p.m. To Walmart - to wait in long line to pick up the Layaway items. Planned to go this late to hopefully avoid the lines. No such luck.

9:15 p.m. Store employees finally bring Layaway boxes to me. Argue with door greeter on the way out because she thinks I need to pay yet again.

9:30 p.m. Gas station. How long can a car go on fumes, anyway?

9:40 p.m. Home. Hubby and I spend ten minutes unloading vehicle, then another fifteen minutes inside putting everything away.

We're pleased that we have all kid's presents purchased, and yet worry that we have probably overspent.

And now? Now I'm beat. And I'm sitting on my ass having a beer.

So - how has your evening gone?

:)

I can appreciate your schedule.

How can life be so eventful, yet so mundane?

How can life be so stressful, yet so domestic?

sounds similar to my day...and I am supposedly on vacation! It all adds up and then you wonder why you are so tired...

Does sound to damn familiar.
Then after he's had it easy, wonders why I'm too pooped for sex!
