Putting this in feedback because it seems more "readers" come here as opposed to other forums.
It was point out to me a couple of days ago by a reader here who also has purchased some of my e-books from Smashwords, that I had surpassed the 50 e-book mark. It hadn't dawned me as to how many titles I had and a quick check came out to 52 (I think its 40 or so on amazon as some things can't go there)
That kind of hit me because when I started writing 4 years ago it was just dirty little scenes for my wife and I to play out during role plays. I ended up out of work for a couple of weeks after having to have a minor surgery and while bored took a couple of those scenes and fleshed them into full stories.
I did that for a year and when my wife found literotica she convinced me to try posting it to see what people thought. Actually her oh, so supportive words were "its no worse than a lot of stuff I've seen there"
So in May 2010 I published Almost perfect, then a foot fetish story and finally getting the nerve to do it, posted the first chapter of my epic SWB series.
One thing led to another and I'm the type that can never just do something causally. I'm obsessive/compulsive and writing became the latest "thing" to challenge myself with.
Lit led to Smashwords and other sites and although not retiring off it, I make some money at it and best of all, its still fun.
This would not have happened without the readers here. Of course Lit itself deserves a thanks as well for providing the platform for us to be here, but as many know I have a lot of issues with the way the site is run(or not run, to be more clear)
But its the readers comments and feedback(good and bad) that at times kept me going-especially with SWB-and was the reason I thought I was good enough at it to keep pursuing bigger better things.
So just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the readers here who have supported me and even those who trashed me as that is a motivational tool for me as well.
So to my fans as well as my trolls and detractors, thanks for keeping me going.
