A message to my writing partners

I am sorry I have been posting irregularly in the last few days.

My mother passed away on Wednesday and as such my time has been spent preparing funerary arrangements and spending time with family.

I will post as soon as I can and as soon as I feel able too

I am sorry for any problems this causes. In no way do I want to end any of my threads but bare in mind until after the funeral (tomorrow) I will not be posting.

Continue any storylines that can be done without me and I will catch up.

Again my apologies.

I care for my Mom until her last day at home in bed and can truly understand your pain and loss, but perhaps my Granny's words will help, "As long as you remember them, they've never left you and never will."

I am saddened to hear your news, nothing can replace the loss of a loved one, I had seen recently someone take their last breath, and seeing a single tear fall from their eye, I wonder if it is tears of sadness or joy - for whatever they lived they lived fully ... I truely believe and hope that there is a life after life, and that they await until your time is ready to meet again.
Where ever it may be.

So until then - be happy you had them for the time you did.
Have no regrets - life is too short to regret things.

I am sure I am not among the few when I say we all understand to some degree your loss. We will wait for you and be here for you should you need others to talk to. These stories that we write like so many stories written that when finished will be part of who we were when we started and who we are when we are finished. Take your time and know that our heartfelt condolences go out to you and yours.

Okay, im feeling in a better frame of mind to begin posting again. I have a fair bit to catch up on and by my Saturday I should be caught up on all I missed out on.

Bear with me for a few more days (thursday morning here just about to head off to work) and I will be back on par with the threads
