It was such a thrill and honor to get the email from the Regional Realtor's Board about being nominated to be the co-presenter at the upcoming Client Meet & Greet seminar. I would be the first female presenter ini the event's 10 year run. Not only that, I had only been a Realtor for six months. However, I did have four sales within those six months. The lowest of the four was 1.4 million.
Needless to say because of how I look and dress, there were little lies suggesting just how Ii'd managed my contract. None of it true. I simply ignored it. I wasn't going to defend looking and feeling my best to petty rival Realtors, some who were certain to be at the Meet & Greet.
I wanted to bring class and a bit of allure while maintaining an image of professionalism. A day before the event, I found the perfect dress.
A sleeveless white Neiman Marcus wrap dress with a pleated hemline swirling above the knee when I walked, revealing my bare, salon tan legs accentuated by my muted gold 6" Louboutin heels. My makeup: perfect as always. And I styled my hair in full, wavy loose curls.
Ii's my hair taking so long that I arrived at the backstage area of the venue with 5 minutes before curtain.
And pacing in front of it was my mentor, Royce.
