What is it with John Kerry? Not only is he challenging President Bush to be the next US President, but he is also an integral part of the Chelsea defence, that has yet to lose a match this season in the English Premiership. And if that wasn’t enough, he was on the substitute’s bench for England on Saturday when we beat Wales 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier.

um!!

Ignore the previous post. It wasn’t John Kerry. It was John Terry.

TV psychic

Enter man dressed alluringly in lame and brocade.

TV Psychic: I have a vision... a vision of Monday... Monday night... Monday night football.

Gauche

I remember telling my dad during the primary election, "If he's such a good psychic, why didn't he know he was going to lose the election?" :D

Damn. Does this mean he's going to be tallying up absentee ballots from beyond the grave? Mind you, they've been doing tht in Chicago for years ...

Shanglan

I suppose if you know you're going to die, you could just vote absentee in advance. Then again, why bother? If I knew I was going to die, I'd have more important things to worry about, like cashing in my life savings for one dollar bills and finding the nearest strip bar.

If you want real talent there are two examples, both Michaels.

Michael Owen, who not only plays soccer for England, but also rugby for Wales, sometimes on the same day.

Then there is Michael Jackson, who plays basketball at a very good level, is a well-known singer of pop songs, and in his younger days invented a computer programming language/package.

And what about?

The only Englishman ever to win the men's title at Wimbledon, and who went on to record a string of international hits including 'Maybellene' and 'Johnny B Goode'.

Chuck Perry!
