This thread is open for one guy and/or woman.
I play the maid, Gloria, who has accidentally (and unknown to her), has captured the interest of the man who has employed her.
We need a man to play the employer. He's wealthy, and a bit arrogant, but he also feels a bit alienated from his wife.
And third, there's the wife. She loves her husband, and would do ANYTHING to keep him from divorcing her. She has no reservations about doing whatever it takes, because he's the only man she's ever loved.
We can go ahead and start with two people, and add in the third later if nobody wants to grab one of the roles.
And here we go!
--------------------------
Gloria was stripping the covers from the bed in the master bedroom. She took the covers and sheets and carried them to the laudry machine and loaded it. Gloria smiled to herself. She wasn't the greatest maid in the world, but the Espinozas had always been kind to her. Mrs. Espinoza was kind and understanding, and Mr. Espinoza had always seemed to enjoy Gloria's company. They paid well, and she knew she had a good job. There was nothing to be ashamed of.
Gloria looked around. It appeared that she was alone for now. Mrs. Espinoza had left on a shoping trip, but she didn't know how long she'd be gone. Mr. Espinoza would be home for lunch, before heading back to the office. He always seemed to come home for lunch on Wednesdays, the day that Gloria came over to clean.
Mr. Espinoza was always polite to Gloria. Sometimes, he even got a bit flirty with her, but she never thought anything of it. The Espinozas seemed perfectly happy. They had no children yet, but they were young, only a few years older than Gloria was, so maybe eventually they would. She secretly hoped so, because she knew that they'd both make good parents.
She was just heading to the kitchen when she heard the front door open and close. Either that was Mrs. Espinoza, home from shoping, or that was Mr. Espinoza, home for lunch.
