Erin paced her living room with a look on her face of pure fury. A look that would have dropped the man sitting on the couch if such a thing were possible. She could see his lips moving but she couldn't hear anything over the roar of anger pounding in her ears. Where the hell did he get off! Apparently Thomas had made a bet with some jackass at work and put her up as the prize thinking he couldn lose! Now he actually expected her to honor his bet!
The bastard!
"Baby please. You don't know this guy. If I renig on the bet..." his voice trailed off leaving her to fill in the blank with her own imagination.
Erin growled softly and glared at her boyfriend, "You're a bastard Thomas. I'll take care of your bet this weekend but while I'm doing that I expect you to be here packing all your shit and to be GONE when I return."
Spinning on her heel she stormed out of the living room and all Thomas heard was the slamming of the door to a bedroom he used to share with her.

The rest of the week was spent in chilly silence but when friday came Erin found herself getting ready to fulfill a bet she should never have been a part of. Her thick mane of red curls she pulled back into a simple ponytail and only put on the barest brush of lip gloss and mascara to bring out the deep emerald green of her eyes. A trench coat was all she wore and she belted it tightly around her waist, revealing the curve of firm breasts pressing against it and the flare of hips, a reminder to Thomas of what his stupidity had lost him.
"Lets get this over with," she said when she appeared at last. "And remember to be gone when I get home."
