What a weekend! We bought Mrs. Comshaw a used motorcycle on Ebay and decided to go collect it this last weekend. What was it? A 1999 Obsidian black Triumph Legend.
This one's Red but other wise the same.

The only problem; the bike was in Ventura Calf. We live in Northern Washington state. A slight bit less then 1300 miles apart. We decided to go get it this last weekend. A quick description of the trip:
We left here last Thursday after work at 6:30 PM and drove south to pickup our friends who live in Longview, 180 miles from here. After throwing their stuff into the car and having a bit of recreation time, , we hit the road again at midnight. We pulled into Ventura Calf. at 11:00 PM the next day. We should have made better time but there was some snow on the Siskiyou pass over the Siskiyou mountains. We stayed in Ventura with some friends until Sunday. We waved goodbye to them at 2:00 PM Sunday afternoon and headed north, the bike tied snugly to the small trailer we had brought with us. 19 hours later (no snow on the pass this time) we pulled into Longview. We took a nap (among other things) and headed home at 5:30PM. We arrived at our door at 8:45PM, 2500 miles on the odometer and one bike richer.
What a drive! Now Mrs. Comshaw can't wait to get the titled changed! She be ready to ride!
WhoooWaaa! Summer's comin'!
