Just my own idea of a chain story at some point, if anyone is interested. It is a theme of time travel adventures along the somewhat satirical lines of Mark Twain's "A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court". This will have a lot of sex, however, unlike Mr. Twain's version.

The beginning would be what I said in the title: a Lebanese Arab, modeled on myself, in the court of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Since Hadrian is gay (historical fact here, not just fantasy or speculation), the Arab gets to fuck the Empress Sabina a great deal without any interference or concern on the Emperor's part. The other chapters could be different, but overall themes of sex at royal or imperial courts by horny and enterprising time-travelers are the glue for the story, so let's try to keep that part in there. :rose:

If you are happy to have the story as historically accurate as Twain then why the emphasis later on the authenticity of Hadrian's sexuality?

It would relieve the author(s) of much research work if you used fictitious courts throughout. I might even offer one chapter based on a visitor from 2007 to the court of the His Magnificence Mahmoud Abdullah, Emir of Kobekistan towards the end of his reign in 2060.

Interesting points.....well, what initially inspired my interest is the thought of what I might have done, had I lived at the Emperor Hadrian's court. Since I'm an anarchist and Sabina was a neglected wife (actually, the Emperor and Empress hated each other, and he was suspected of having her murdered, if I recall correctly), I got a number of ideas about ways to stick it to Caesar. That made me think of other scenarios and what others might do....

....maybe a portal to a different world, including one with an Emperor much like Hadrian? ;) Would that be easier?

And, yes, I suppose that Twain was a bit loose with his history. He was using it as allegory, I think.
