Blaanid was so terribly tired, swollen with pregnancy as she traveled on horseback to get to a safe area. Her belly was full of her lover's first child and though she was happy in the fact that she would soon have his child, she was also cold and scared that she would not make it home to see him ever again.

And what also scared her, was the very fact that he was King and she wasn't even his bride, for he had never offered her marriage yet, and though she was of a good family line, she was still afraid that he would never want her as a wife, much less a mother to his children.

But her family's home had been destroyed by raiders of her lover's enemies, and she had been riding for days now to get to the safety that was his arms, her hand now even resting upon her five month pregnant belly worried about not only would he take her in, but how he would react to her...condition. The only comfort that she had now was the very fact that she was now in the safety of his borders and would soon be able to find the warmth of his great halls once more.

She kicked her horse so that she could move a little faster, though it hurt her back a great deal, she just wanted to make sure to get to him before she either woke up from her dream or passed out from exhaustion.
