William - The Ship's Computer - Your Character
200 (As old as the ship)
People always said that space was the final frontier which people have found that very true, there didn't seem to be anything new to learn. The only thing people in space could hope for is to find other planets with life on it. A planet that was much like their own. Earth had been overpopulated for two hundred years, and people who go to space hope to find the second earth that people suspected existed. One ship that was out there was called Raven's Dagger. The ship was actually built by the captain's father, which was why he named the ship after her. The ship was pitch black and was built to be fast, big, and silent. The Captain of Raven's Dagger was Raven Rose Masters, a young woman who was extremely intelligent and full of life. Sadly people see her is stuck up because she never talked to anyone.
Accept William the computer's AI...
She treated William like a human being and he was the first one who actually talked to her, she hated how people could abuse an AI just because it didn't have feelings. But Raven's Dagger was different. She created a program that gave William feelings, he knew how to love, hate, be happy, and do almost anything humanly possible. People on the ship thought she was nuts, but she made it for a ship she had no idea was going to be her own ship one day. The ship was much older than the captain, but Raven was the first female ever born to her family, and it was decided long ago that the first female in the Master's family would be named Raven. All people had their own customs and believed in their own gods. But Raven herself really didn't have much to believe in. Her parents both dead and she had never loved a man.
She ignored all the ways people looked at her, it wasn't easy by far but she was hoping that one day she would be able to prove herself to her shipmates. But she couldn't do that till she could finish this mission. It was easier to ignore those that didn't know her with a ship that was huge. She had no idea that the ship AI was trying to make it possible to touch her and for her to touch him. She truly cared about him, who would have thought that the computer of a ship could make her feel the way he did, she was in her room finally when she saw William materialize beside her, she smiled looking up at him. Raven heard her computer beep and she looked at it, she saw a code on the screen and then a picture of what she saw in Williams's hand.
Just by reading the code, she knew what this would do if she allowed him to continue with his project. She smiled looking up at William and she nodded giving him permission to continue. She sat there as an arm came out from the ceiling it was something that was going to make a small cut at the base of her brain and her eyes were on Will the whole time as he used his ability as the ship to make the cut and to put the little Nano drone inside her, she bit her lip so hard blood fell from her lip and within five minutes it was done, a simple skin graft over the wound. She slowly stood up, dizzy at first as she felt the drone inside her body. Looking at Will and moving closer, her hand shaking a little a great nervousness showing to see if this would work.
Raven smiled at him and placed her hand on his cheek, and instead of her hand going through him. She felt him for the very first time she felt the warmth of his cheek. Tears could be seen in her eyes as she hugged Will very close to her, feeling him hold her as she held him. She finally had a friend she could touch as well as talk to, for Raven was in love with the computer's AI.
