I was reading through saved emails from many years back. I had a short but intense relationship which started through written exchanges -to the physical - and said our gradual goodbyes, often through verse.

I have a few more from that time I may post. I will only post mine. I have no wish to go through submission publishing process.

If this is the wrong arena then point me to the correct thread.

As mentioned they just represent a very intense exchange. They really should be seen as the narrative they represent - complete with responses.

The partner referred to, who was publishing poetry and producing art works, suggested working collaboratively. My efforts at the time were merely a response to her highly charged writings, much as our short relationship was, very raw with high sexual intensity. When finally I thought it would be interesting to release these exchanges I can not track her down. I don't have permission to include her writings.

Would I write like that now, probably not. While comments or criticism are free to be given, I think I'll leave these for what they were, one side of a dialogue between two people. The writings were sometimes simplistic and basic, but had an urgency of two people desiring love and release yet finding life's events getting in the way. We were both using the relationship as a distraction from life much as others' may use alcohol or recreational drugs..
