I want to tell our readers how much I appreciate them. Without them reading my stories, voting on my stories, and even occasionally sending me feedback, I wouldn't be here. And I wouldn't be nearly as happy as I am today.

Writing for me is a release, but it is the readers who make it worthwhile for me to post my stories on Lit. Sometimes I forget this and I get angry about recieving a low vote or a harsh feedback.

Today I recieved a feedback from a woman and what she said nearly made my heart stop. I got blurry eyed and had to get away from my computer for a while. I keep all my feedback, good and bad, but hers will have a special place on my computer and from now on when I get angry at someone's comments or voting, I'm going to go back and read this feedback.

To my readers. I salute you and thank you, even the ones who cannot, or will not, take the time to write to me. And to this special lady: You truly touched me with your feedback and I shall not soon forget you.

a humbled and contrite

ain't it the truth

You put that very well. Newbie that i am i've still been here, and had submissions up, for long enough that i've gotten some positive feedback.

It's worth more than gold. If you actually succeed in touching someone's heart, and they respond personally, whew! that could get addictive.

How do you get your next fix though? Just gotta keep writing i suppose.

i'm gonna go check out your library now, i been ignoring you too long.

*Sending MY thanx to the READERS also*

I too would like to thank the readers for their input. I only have one story so far, but I have recieved a few e mails, and it helps a lot to know that people are reading and liking what you post. The bad criticism helps too, as long as it's not completely composed of "you suck" and the like. To all the readers out there, my hat is off to you, and I encourage you to send your feedback to help shape what you will be reading in the future.

Wow, Ray

I just finished reading your story "Pulling the Bridal Train." You took an old story, [one final fling before marriage], and gave it a different twist. You do have talent my friend. I only hope that I can post a story that will measure up at least as half as well as yours. Since the vote meter only goes to 5; I'll give you a nine on my vote. Hope this makes you feel better! {Does this qualify as a positive feedback?}

Yes Foxfan that certainly does qualify as positive feedback and I thank you for the kind words.
