Warning!!

Hello everybody. I thought I'd just pass on this important info I received regarding public health but I'll post it here as it mostly concerns peoples sexual health. However the results of this study are as yet unconfirmed so please just bear it in mind.

I work for hospitals and heard some info the other day which greatly concerned me. For a long time now medical professionals have suspected a link between the hpv virus and cancer rates in people practicing oral and anal sex. Researchers generally try to avoid releasing public info about this up to now because the results are inconclusive and no one wants to cause a public health scare. And yet privately many studies are ongoing. The other day someone passed me on the results of a study which pointed to a dangerous correlation between radiation signals and sexual activity. It seems that generally the hpv virus is passed on through bodily transmissions and becomes activated (somehow we don't know the mechanism) particularly in cases of anal and oral sex, not vaginal where the rates of activation are far lower. Now this study stumbled onto an interesting result quite by chance. One of our test subjects (hpv positive) was wacking off (really thats what we scientists study sometimes!) into a vial for a sample analysis and happened to be talking on a cell phone at the same time. As per good scientific procedure all particulars had to be noted so the cell phone use was duly recorded by the lab assistant. In two days when reviewing the test subjects it was found that the hpv virus in this subject had been activated although he never previously had a problem and he had to be rushed to care to begin radiation treatment immediately. This got the researchers thinking and about a year ago a new series of experiments testing only mobile phones, magnetic radiation and semen samples was set up. The results are chilling. In 70 percent of cases cell phone radiation seems to activate any transmitted hpv virus, and the phone doesn't need to be held in the hand. It could merely be sitting in the same room! The researchers are worried enough to pass this on to doctors now who have been warned to look for the signs in the population at large.

What does this practically mean for you? Well If your practicing anal or oral sex chances of hpv virus transmission are now 78 percent higher than vaginal. If radiation (say from a phone) activates the virus, you face a 60 to 70 percent higher than normal rate of contracting anal or oral cancerous tumors! Many of us in the medical profession are very scared about the implications of this study. So my advice to every one would be for now until results are conclusive, try to confine yourselves to vaginal sex only! And of course abstinence is the only sure way. I will try to get some more info on the results of the study leaked as soon as I can, remember this is a leak not a published result. I'm leaking because I personally think people should start acting on this now.

Wow. Nice fear mongering, dude. (It also seems to be a homophobic bunch of bullshit).

Tell you what, why don't you cite your references to this "study" you mentioned instead of trying to prevent people from loving each other by scaring them with some fictitious "science".

P.S. You completely lost it when you said it only affected oral/anal, but not vaginal sex. That has NO logic to it at all other than to target gay men.

Utter bullshit. Cell phones "activating" HPV by being IN THE SAME ROOM? Complete and total non-scientific shit.

Absolutely not. I have no problem personally with gay men or women. I thought I'd just give a heads up in the interest of public health as non vaginal sex has become so popular these days. As for the study, its in the preliminary stages so this is a ... leak!! Because I'm concerned and scared. Its interesting but our medical studies have shown that the body has natural defense mechanisms against the hpv virus which have a higher percentage of effectiveness within the vagina. Thats not to say that those defenses don't activate in other parts of the body, just a lower chance. The point of this study was the correlation of cell phone use. Thats what people need to pay attention to possibly as well as limiting risky behavior.

And you think Literotica is an appropriate place to leak this information? How about, I don't know, the news agencies?

I know its hard to believe but I'm concerned about the results of this and other studies. If so, hpv could be a far more dangerous virus than any encountered so far, namely because of its radiation mutation frequency rate (RMFR) and the fact that cell phones have taken off. Why haven't we been more affected by hpv virus before in human history? You guessed it, the simultaneous rise of cell phones and sexual revolution. Hence more studies need to be done immediately.

Actually I've attempted to pace this info in the hands of Wikileaks dropbox but i don't know how long it takes for them to review and such. Literotica happens to be one of the large adult forums. So hopefully I will try to keep people up to date with what we're finding and then people can act accordingly.

Is asking people to keep they're bodily fluids out of each other's asses or mouths the same as asking them to stop loving each other? But you could start with the phones.

Maybe you can drop it off in WikiLeaks drop box on the way to pick up your meds...

Seriously, dude. Your attempts at fundie scare tactics reek of your creationist "scientific" background that has you convinced that Mary was still a virgin after having a baby, people got routinely eaten by dinosaurs and that you go to hell if you eat shrimp.

P.S. I thought the Luddites died out in the 19th century. Guess I was wrong, huh?

Well that was silly, their website says they're not accepting submissions right now. I sure hope you're using Tor though, or it can come back to bite you.

Try watching this video:
http://www.tcij.org/whistleblower-guidelines

Then try LiveLeak.com, which gets a whole lot more eyeballs than Literotica.

But until you can provide a citation, I think you're full of crap. "Oh, I can't provide a citation, it's a leak!" Yeah, no. You're not leaking anything until you have verifiable information.

Meanwhile, I will point other readers to this Wikipedia article which states "A large body of research exists, both epidemiological and experimental, in non-human animals and in humans, of which the majority shows no definite causative relationship between exposure to mobile phones and harmful biological effects in humans. "

And before you say Wikipedia isn't an acceptable source of information, of course it's not. It's a distillation, but it can be wrong. But you can start with the References list for further evidence.

Wikipedia is more valid than the Bible which is what I think this dude is using as his reference material. :D

I submitted it over half a year ago. Anyway don't get so mad this is not an attack on anyone I just thought people might be interested. Citations have to have names attached and no one is going public with this because its sensitive. Just be aware is all I'm saying. The risk factor that you accept in your life is up to you. First thing get that phone out of the room and definitely don't talk on it during. Then if thats not enough for you think about limiting some sexual practices... thats all.

Uh, yeah. Nobody believes you, dude. But whatever, rock on.

Try looking it up on wikipedia, you won't find anything there accept general info about the hpv virus which is a hot spot for research right now. Anyway, I hate to point out that wikipedia and wikileaks aren't even remotely similar.

I think a lot of people may be reading this without comment. If you don't believe me you can inquire with the researchers at your local hospital, they'll probably have at least heard about this.

Now how could they have heard of this if it's not published? And I know it hasn't been published because (a) you said so, and (b) I gave you the benefit of the doubt and checked ProQuest, ProQuest Medical Sciences, EbscoHost, and LexisNexis - didn't find a thing. So how, exactly, would someone have heard of this? Please do enlighten me.

Just look up info on the hpv virus! All the major hospitals are routinely sharing info but something like this won't be published yet for obvious reasons. But if you go and ask someone, I'm sure what they'll say is "yes, we have major concerns about hpv and radiation at the moment." Thats all for now. What I'm saying is that people ought to act on it until we know more. What you do is up to you. You could for instance, make sure that your partner or partners are clear of hpv. Problem solved. Oh yeah, but clearing them of hpv might take some skill!

You're really Pope Benedict's alt, ain'cha! :D

Look if you don't believe me I could arrange to send a small sample of 100 percent hpv. Just pour a little bit on your arm or something. Trust me it'll change your view of sex. Actually thats not really a good idea. We're not talking about religion here incidentally. This is about science.

Radiation helps, not hurts. You think they'd be giving patients with HPV related cancers chemotherapy if it made them worse?

And cell phones have nothing to do with it. You are being an idiot. If you're really so concerned, go to your nearest pay phone and call the journalists who care.

I think I ought to point out to you that radiation is a biological killer. Just what to you think spills out of a nuclear bomb? What happens to your skin cells if you stay in the sun long enough? Of course radiation also kills cancers, yes but the point here is that it seems minute amounts of magnetic radiation, say from a cell phone or power line, can trigger the dormant function within the hpv which otherwise just causes warts and so forth. So thats the scary part.

I've been to Hiroshima. I know about nukes.

HPV is not "triggered" by anything. The radiation from cell phones has been repeatedly shown not to have adverse biological effects. It is also much too weak to have ANY effect when not physically touching the human body. "In the same room" is a lot of nonsense.

Fortunately, I give Lit readers a lot more credit than you. I'm pretty sure they'll see right through this bullshit.

I'm done with this conversation, which I'd like to note was completely done on my cell phone.

Which would explain why you are wearing that aluminum foil hat, right? ;)
