A glitch in Lit's system?

So I submitted a story last Sunday, which was July 22nd. The story is still in pending status, yet it shows the date of submission as being July 28th.

Check again on July 28th. I'm pretty sure your story will be up that day.

I'm having the same thing... I posted mine 14st, says it's going up 27th, it's said that since last sunday. Maybe they're giving people estimated post dates now? I dunno want it up now

The dates mean that's what date it will be posted.

My past few stories have taken 10-14 days to get posted. At first I thought I'd crossed some line and the powers that be were considering rejecting it. Then I thought it was because my story was soooo long. My last submission was pretty short, less than 2 Lit pages and it took about 14 days. I figured they're overloaded/under-staffed.

Maybe they're giving people estimated post dates now?

Those aren't estimates, they're "pre-approval flags."

The main site software is setup so that story approvals can be done for several days in advance and flagged to post automatically -- it's a way for the admins to be able to take a day off without getting irate e-mails about no new stories.
