"A Girl's Gotta Do..."

Lara Reed let her dress fall from her body, leaving her standing there in the open air of the construction site in nothing more than her stockings and a matching pair of black panties. She trembled down to her core, not just because of the cool breeze passing over her skin but because she'd never done anything like this before in her life.
But...
Maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves...
Six Weeks Earlier:
Lara's husband entered the master bath of their relatively new home to find Lara sobbing, tears streaking her mascara down her cheeks. She answered his inquiry as to what was wrong by handing him a sheet of paper and the opened envelope from which it had come.
The page contained a great deal of legal mumbo jumbo from their lawyer that Lara didn't honestly understand to it fullest. But she understood enough to know that life as they'd known it was about to come crashing down into a pile of burning rubble.
Lara had been a college freshman, just short of 19 years of age, when she'd met her decade older husband at a conference she was covering for the Community College's newspaper. Lara hadn't understood most of what he was saying about online stocks, day trading, long term versus short term investing, and other such over-her-head topics. But his charm had been easy to understand and appreciate. Over a cup of espresso a week later, Lara had fallen in love with him. She'd surrendered her virginity to him a couple of months into their relationship, and within the year they'd exchanged vows and moved into their first dinky little apartment downtown.
Her husband's given name was Edward. Most of his friends simply called him Ed. But Lara had called him Eddie on their first real date, and since he'd seemed to like it, she'd been calling him such ever since. He'd excelled in some form of day trading that -- like most of his career area -- she didn't understand. Oh, she wasn't an idiot or anything like that. She just didn't have a head for finance.
Lara had continued with her education in Journalism after the marriage, ultimately getting her BA and then starting on her Masters. The University program through which Lara was working was expensive, but Eddie was making good money and footing the bill while she spent half her time studying and the other half caring for her husband and their home.
She was deeply in love with her husband and would do just about anything for him.
Little did Lara know that in a month and a half, she would be taking her clothes off before another man in the hopes of letting him fuck her would save her and her husband's business, marriage, home, and future.
"He says it's all gone, doesn't he?" she sobbed about the note from their business lawyer. "I don't … I don't understand half of what he's saying … but … he's saying it's lost. The entire investment."
She sobbed again, stood, and moved forward to wrap her arms around her husband's torso. Lara began crying fiercely, sobbing in between, "What are-- What are we-- gonna do? We're-- we're ruined."
