I have a FB that I have been hooking up with intermittently for a few months. The other day, I had literotica and a bunch of other things open on my computer and forgot about it. I went out, and when I came back, I realised that all this stuff was open on my computer, but figured nobody had seen it because it all looked the same as when I left it (the FB was at my house at this time)... The lit site that was open was a page where I had said, among other things, that I liked to hear my partner making noise when I'm with him...

So that night, I'm hooking up with FB and he's louder than I've heard, and some other stuff happened that I'd referred to on that thread.

So I guess he recognised my screen name... :D

I have a fuckbuddy who is a member of Lit who stumbled across my lit identity because of a couple of things that sounded familiar. The clincher was the thread in the GB about favourite words where I said my favourite word was sporran and my FB remembers a conversation where I mentioned my favourite word - I'd forgotten saying it.

So.....

are you going to see if you can feed him some tips via LIT?

What are you prepared to do?

I don't need to feed him tips via lit - we communicate very well.

Now if only I knew who he was?

oh gosh.

I can't imagine what would happen if someone I had been with found me here. (that I don't already know about)

...

LOL Bluesugar, I know what you mean. My sister reads the forums, and one good friend of mine too, but nobody else that I know of. I guess it's a risk I take using the same screenname on more than one site, though, which would be how FB recognised me.

(Also, one time my dad dropped a hint that "someone" read my emails, and I should be careful what I say. I pushed and pushed, but he wouldn't elaborate... And he's new at the whole internet thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if by emails, he meant posts on a forum LOL - so, yeah, hi Dad or Dad's friend or whoever you are. :D)

Anyway, I guess I was a bit mortified about FB reading it, but at the same time, things turned out well for me, so yay! :p

Everyone but my cousins in my family are completly internet/computer dumb... so I'm in the clear as far as family goes.
Its the random people I know that I don't talk to Lit about that I'm spooked about finding me. And I can get rid of the pictures, and a few of the posts... but I've posted quite a bit, I've built a Manual ... my sn is similar to another, and my AIM is attached in my profile ... I've left my mark here, so I'd just have to suck it up and say "yep... thats me... *awkward laugh*" and then rend a gun and buy a bullet.

Last christmas they put a porn store where I used to live and it was a big deal. I would make sure there were know cars I could reconize and then go in to do my shopping. I come home as usual, and my older brother had been visiting and he stops me in the hallway (we're 10 years apart)

Him: so.. er... you've been to _____.
me: *shocked* uh.. yeah..
Him: next time you see a red (insert truck info here) don't go in, my friend works there. And I know we're both adults - but I don't need to know my baby sister's kinks. He told me what you were looking at, what you bought, and that you've got good taste.. I stopped him there.
Me: *nods* gotcha bro.. thanks... *smirk*

I think your brother needs to learn some tact - he should have told his friend that he didn't want to know and not mentioned it to you.

As for being with someone who knows me and is on lit I don't really find it a problem at this stage. I didn't really think about dropping hints or tips though. Maybe I need to consider that one...........

.......wanders off thinking to myself

I am always paranoid about people going through my internet history and figuring out my lit secret! hahaha

... blushing...

lol ur safe here, (not) i wonder if the Pope ever came on lit, i said "came" the problem with meeting people on here is you generally find out about their kinks before you know if they take sugar in coffee or anything else, then back tracking to get to know them is made difficult, it can be done though and when you do its very rewarding, but lit is a topsy turvy way of meeting people

I'm usually much more paranoid that I was the other day when I accidentally left the window open...

Well, I guess that's one way of getting your FB to do something you want! ;)
