1. Anything originally by Pat Boone
2. Anything by the Pogues
3. Livin' La Vida Loca
4. Pop--NSync, Backstreet Boys, whatever
5. Knockin' on Heavens Door--Guns and Roses
6. The entire catalog of P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Mase, etc.

Anything Else?

Anything by Celine Dion! (sorry, Canadians, but I absolutely cannot stand her...)

Can I throw Mariah Carey's catalog on or is there something worth saving?

This is a actually a Bob Dylan tune.
Do you mean their (G&R) version? Do you not like the lyrics too? I am by no means saying that Dylan can sing better than Axl, just that it isn't a terrible song. ;) The Grateful Dead have made that song worth hearing.

My contribution is large....
I'll throw on all teenie bopper dance Pop music. Don't care who it is... Especially that pink haired chick... *whoop whoop*
I am not about to sit and list them either, so it is just implied that if your fan range is 11-18, then you're crap. I didn't even get into that shit when I was a teen so it can fry for all I care.

Lilminx.....

Terrence: Hey Phillip, I think... I think I want to have a threesome with you and Celine Dion.

Phillip: What? Really? Moi? Oh Terrence, You've made me so happy.

Terrence: You know what though? I am worried that while I am pumping that skank in the ass while you drill her mouth that she may FART!!!!!!
*pbpbpbpbffffffffffftttttttttt*

AAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!

I completely agree. Dylan: Yes. GNR: No. Although just about all of Appetite goes in the "Save From Nuclear Holocaust" lead lined container.:)

everything by the spice girl's......and the spice girls too :D

fuel for the fire............

1 - Currently popular trios that think they r punk, Blink 182, Sum 41, modern Green Day, etc. etc.

2 - Whitney Houston, that friggin "I will always love you" song is enough to merit burning, her other work just proves my point

3 - Fatboy Slim, while alot of electronic based artists have won me over, this guy sux. All his songs are just standard verse, chorus, verse...and he uses that same fade out effect as his bridge in EVERY song.

4 - Oasis, strangely I cannot explain my hatred for these guys nor do I fight the urge to lampoon them whenever possible.

5 - Courtney Love, look in dictionary under....Poser Bitch(also see Trend Chaser)

6 - Elton John, to me he is nothing more than a clown lounge piano player(doesnt write lyrics, wtf?)

just my little donation to the list

Jackson 5
Partridge family

Yeah, I hate seeing them everywhere. They've become pompous as hell, but they do have some good tunes.

The pyre burns on! But Batter, I'm guessing that you don't know a lot about the Jackson 5, they're not the Jacksons. Explain yourself!

You know I hate that fucking Slipknot shit....they need to burn

I second the Osmonds, Pat Boone; in fact all semi-religious pop pablum should join the fire. So, let's add Michael W. Smith.

Post-Eagles Don Henley.

The entire catalog of anyone who covers great Cramps songs.
Just as punishment for fucking with it.

Warrant. All of it. If I could burn "Cherry Pie" twice, I would.

hmmm

I don't like anybody's version of Knockin' (or the stupid movie).

I love the Pogues' Dirty Old Town, which they didn't write. And some of the their music for Sid & Nancy. But in general they suck/ed.

I hate most pop music, including anything recorded by any Jacksons in the past 18 years. Anything by Natalie Merchant, Billy Joel, Spices, P/Puff, you get the picture. I like fine, edgy music, angry music....

Jackson 5

I would vote for both Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 catalog to burn, but I must say that the "ABC,123" song can work on party mixes, just funny.

regarding Marxist liking some of the bands i listed....what bothers me about Blink 182 and the like....this is not punk. I get ticked when people think they are hardcore because they listen to MTV bands with tattoos and dye jobs. A victim of consumer culture more than a "punk".

oops

sorry, it was lil minx that was partial to my choices, didnt think anyone with a PE loga for an avatar would favor that crap, lol

That wasn't me. Once you put it on the fire, it ain't coming off. No matter if I like it or the Pope loves it. Burn, baby burn!

Oh yeah, Minnie Ripperton's "Loving You." Loved it the first 2183982138 times, couldn't stand it the rest.

Actually, I was the one who wrote that. And I am well-aware that Blink182 is not hardcore punk. I still like their tunes- they're fun, and their music is catchy.

Good lord am I glad someone else realizes that Blink is NOT PUNK.

natalie imbruglia

began as a soap star, enuff said....dont expect a follow up hit

So friggin obvious..........

I cant believe I didnt think of this one first.
